Blanchard Christmas Parade

When: Dec 9th, 6pm, show up 5pm
Where: Blanchard OK Old City Hall at Main and Broadway.
Changing area provided weapons okay

We are featured at the end again this year. Since the theme is "Comic Con Christmas" in addition to our Star Wars costumes they would love any Ghostbusters, Jurassic Park etc.
We will have a changing area and transportation to the starting point again this year.
Everyone is welcome to the Elden's house immediately after the parade for refreshments.
More details to follow but if you have any questions just ask Mark Elden.
Thanks again for supporting this event. The kids look forward to it all year.

I will be there for sure. Been planning this one for a bit now. May switch to Indiana Jones for this one, since it's more open genre.

As of now I'm planning on making this as a Christmas-ized Jedi knight..

I found some light up necklaces at Dollar General for three bucks each and they worked pretty well for the Moore parade. That is where I got mine if anyone else might be interested in getting some themselves.

Hey. Is it too early for that more information to follow yet?

Such as...
where are we meeting before parade?
How is that transportation to the starting point happening?
Is there a float/ vehicle for those unable to walk the length of the route?
How about transportation from the end point?

If needed I can offer my 12 passenger van for group transportation. I'll be on my own for this one so I can have about 11 passengers (more if they squeeze together). It'll cut down on group gas, parking, and lost TIEs from the convoy. All I ask for is a navigator/co-pilot to assist in getting where we're going...a Van-bacca if you will.

Also can Mark Elden PM me the address and directions to the house from Blanchard city limits?

The city has upgraded us to a large facility to change in. We will be meeting at 5pm at Blanchard's old city hall building on Main & Broadway. It is directly across from the Blanchard Police department. There is parking for us in the area. The city is providing a bus that will pick us up at our changing location and take us to our position at the start line. I believe Rick is going to bring our "float" as he has in years past. The ending point is about 50 yards from where we are changing so you will not have to walk far to you car. The city is providing a corvette for the princesses and a monster truck for another of our characters. All of the characters we are bringing are going to be back to back to back in the parade.

The address for refreshments after is 1801 Hunt Club Circle. We live in Fox Run which is directly across the highway from Sonic. It is maybe a mile from the end of the parade. Easy peasy. Thank you for the information and for offering your residence as a post-parade refreshment station. This is my first time doing the Blanchard Parade so I was unsure of the procedures.

Sounds like its gonna be a bit chilly that evening but nothing JediOKC can't handle.

We'll warm up the crowd with our usual hi-engergy presentation! Big Grin
